Course Overview

Overall competence for this unit requires that a person can correctly use equipment, apply chemical correctly, record the application, and identify safety hazards and how to avoid them.

Who is this course designed for?

This course is designed for all personnel who carry out the application of herbicide under the supervision of an accredited or licensed responsible person in the workplace.

An introductory course for candidates with minimal/no background history in using AgVet Chemicals. Topics include; minimising chemical use; understanding the label; safety requirements; application techniques; regulations; clean-up procedures.

Successful participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment (SOA) certificate.
